If you’re planning an Easter photoshoot, you don’t need anything too fancy. A cute Easter basket, some colorful eggs (stick to the pastel shades) and a little bunny cuddly toy can make for the sweetest shots. I love jellycat as they are soft and floppy but have weight to them that hold really well in images. Choose a park with lots of greenery or flowers, and somewhere with a lot of depth helps to add some extra magic. Just before sunset is a great time to shoot, the sun is more gentle at that time, just remember to keep the sun behind your subject otherwise bright sun on the face and eyes squinting from the light is not very flattering.
Have children smell the flowers, twirl in the grass, play games and capture the laughs and the magic. Throw a blanket down on the ground and capture some beautiful family moments full of cuddles and laughter.
For clothing stick to soft pastel colors again – think dresses, button down shirts, maybe a cute little bow tie. Have some fun and capture those magical moments! They’ll be perfect for Easter cards, presents for the grandparents or to adorn your walls at home.
