8 Things to do with your mom friends in Los Angeles

You deserve a day or night out without the kids, just being you with your mom friends! Los Angeles is the perfect destination for a day or night of fun, relaxation, and indulgence. From rooftop bars to pampering spa treatments, there’s something for everyone. Here are 8 things to do with your mom friends in Los Angeles to help you plan the perfect girls’ day/night out in LA.

Paint & Sip

This is something I did myself with friends recently, and we had such a great time! We booked Calico Canvas in Woodland Hills, we took along some pizza, cheese and crackers, snacks and wine, we painted and had such a fun evening. We laughed and all felt so refreshed.

Rooftop Bars

If you’re looking to get your heels back on, LA has some of the most beautiful rooftop bars in the world. Head to Perch in downtown LA (one of my favorites) for a French-inspired experience or The Roof on Wilshire for stunning panoramic views of the city. Sip on cocktails, indulge in some delicious food, and enjoy the breathtaking scenery with your mom squad.

Spa Day

Choose a day to have a few hours just for you with your mom friends and treat yourself to a day of pampering at one of LA’s many luxurious spas. The Beverly Hills Hotel Spa is a celebrity favorite, offering a range of treatments from massages to facials. Or, check out the Spa at the Four Seasons in Westlake Village for a serene and peaceful environment that will leave you feeling rejuvenated.  I personally love Burke Williams at The Village in Woodland Hills.  Another great idea would be to have an overnight spa trip with your girlfriends!  Then you’d come back feeling completely relaxed and rejuvenated.

Comedy Clubs

LA is famous for its comedy clubs, and there’s nothing like a good laugh to lift your spirits. Head to The Comedy Store or The Laugh Factory in West Hollywood for some of the best stand-up comedy in the city. You’ll have a great time bonding with your friends over a night of laughter.

Dinner and Dancing

Put on your dancing shoes and head to a club for a night of fun and dancing. Start with dinner at Catch LA, an upscale seafood restaurant with a rooftop bar and stunning city views, I love “The Carnival” on their dessert menu!  Then, if you’re up for dancing you can head onto an LA club afterwards.

Escape Rooms

If you’re looking for a unique and challenging experience, try an escape room. You and your mom friends will have to work together to solve puzzles and escape before time runs out. Try the Basement in Sylmar for a horror-themed escape room, or The Room in Hollywood for a challenging and immersive experience.

Art Galleries

For a more cultured and sophisticated night out, check out one of LA’s many art galleries. The Getty Center is a must-see, with stunning architecture and an extensive collection of art. Or, head to the Hauser & Wirth gallery in the Arts District for contemporary art exhibitions and installations.

Karaoke Bars

Channel your inner diva and sing your heart out at one of LA’s many karaoke bars. Try The Good Nite in North Hollywood for a fun and relaxed atmosphere, or the Blind Dragon in West Hollywood for a more upscale karaoke experience.

No matter what you choose, a night out with your mom friends in LA is sure to be an unforgettable experience. So, grab your girls, put on your best outfits, and get ready for a night of fun and laughter!

And after some fun, once you’re feeling refreshed, check out my family photoshoots. I’d love to capture you at the beach or the park having a wonderful time with your family!
