I'm originally from the UK and now live with my husband, daughter and son in Los Angeles. I've been told I sound like Peppa Pig... Actually, you could say I am Peppa Pig! I am the voice of all of the Peppa Pig audiobooks! I love to bring that animated energy into my sessions. They are always filled with fun, laughter and lots of love. I bring that little bit of magic to every session I photograph, and I'd love to do that for you and your family.

Our newborn session with Lauren was beyond-words-amazing. From the moment we got to the studio, she made us feel comfortable and took the time to get to know our baby girl. Lauren truly loves babies and is therefore patient with babies and new parents. Our one-week old was crying and fussy when she got to the studio, so Lauren let me feed her and put her to sleep before starting with the photo session. We never felt rushed. Once the photo session started, Lauren really worked her magic. She simply “gets” babies and was able to pose her and dress her without waking her. When our baby looked like she was about to wake up, Lauren would soothe her back to sleep and continue to work. It was all very organic and nothing was forced. She also has adorable baby clothes and props, so we didn’t feel stressed at the thought of having to prepare for the session in any way. It was truly a beautiful experience, and we highly recommend Lauren of Elsie Rose Photography for a magical newborn shoot!

Lauren is a truly fantastic photographer who has done Holiday photos, pregnancy, Mother’s Day, birthday and cake smash photos for my family. She has a wonderfully relaxed studio which makes me, my husband and our 2 children feel at ease. She always manages to get great shots because of how relaxed the shoot is as well as her photography skills and my children love having photoshoots with her. My oldest child can be very serious but Lauren manages to get genuine smiles from him and all of us - no forced cheesy grins or awkward poses here! I’ll be going back to Lauren for as long as she’ll have us as the photos are some of my most cherished memories.

I have had the absolute pleasure of working with Lauren twice now. The first time my youngest was only a few months old and she took the most amazing photos of her & her big sisters. She also did headshots for all 3 girls (ages 1, 6 and 8) recently and I couldn’t have been happier with the results. Lauren has a fabulous personality and all my girls are crazy about her. Run by creative Lauren she provides that super personal service, it’s not one shoe fits all with her. She worked with me on Location/styling and overall appearance of my photo shoot.
Lauren works super fast and efficiently but most of all she gets the shots. I had so many beautiful pictures to choose from. She was able to bring out the personality of my very shy little one, establishing a very good connection with her from the get go. WOW, WOW, WOW! What an experience for both our one year old, Charlotte and for us the parents. Lauren made us all feel so comfortable and involved my wife and I throughout the shoot which made Charlotte’s first shoot ever comfortable, enjoyable, fun and extremely memorable! Our biggest issue was trying to convince Charlotte to leave Lauren’s Studio! I can’t recommend Lauren enough and I look forward to scheduling Charlotte’s two year old shoot.

I did a mommy and me session with Lauren, as being the mom, it’s usually me taking the cute pics of my daughter with her daddy, and I wanted something to remember the early days of her toddlerhood by. I was blown away by the captivating images that Lauren was able to get. Not only did she get the most precious moments, but the colors and the backgrounds are absolutely stunning. She was so warm and welcoming that myself and my daughter were instantly at ease and I loved all the photos from our session. We had a newborn photo shoot with our ten day old daughter and Lauren was beyond amazing! She is THE Baby Whisperer. The vibe was very calm and relaxed and our daughter just molded to Lauren’s touch. The poses and pictures are absolutely adorable, beautiful, and professional. And even when our daughter behaved slightly unprofessional (she had an “accident” on a sheet while being photographed), Lauren handled it so smoothly and didn’t make us feel badly or embarrassed. (Lauren just makes everyone feel sooo comfortable) My daughter didn’t cry and pretty much slept through the whole thing, and we got such fantastic photos that we’ll cherish always — this woman has a gift and I couldn’t recommend her more.
